Lewis Brogdon

A scholar, author, and public intellectual is Associate Professor of Preaching and Black Church Studies at the Baptist Seminary of Kentucky, where he also serves as the Executive Director of the Institute for Black Church Studies. Brogdon’s ministry career spans over two decades and has informed his academic work and public engagement. Brogdon’s work books reflects his expertise in biblical studies, African American religious thought, and contemporary social issues. His ability to engage with both scholarly and general audiences has established him as an important voice on religion, race, and social justice.
